Considering the importance of the stability of high-rise buildings against earthquakes and wind, the most important concerns of civil engineers are the design and resistant construction of these structures, considering geotechnical hazards. In recent years, there have been several severe earthquake disasters in which many buildings have been severely damaged. Damage observations and detailed structural analyzes have shown that ssi soil-structure interaction can significantly change the capacity and demand-related structural parameters such as vibration period, thrust capacity, etc., and consequently the seismic performance; Therefore, it is necessary to consider the effects of ssi for the design and evaluation of buildings. Considering ssi in the seismic analysis of structures causes the ground movement at the foundation surface to be affected by soil properties, wave path, area effects and soil geometry.
Considering the interaction of soil and structure can increase or decrease the response of the structure under the effect of earthquake force. This depends on factors such as characteristics of the earthquake on the soil surface, dynamic characteristics of the soil, dynamic characteristics of the structure, and characteristics of the bedrock earthquake such as frequency content and duration.
In order to check the seismic performance of the structure, first, a high-rise structure with a special bending frxame and shear wall structural system is modeled, analyzed and designed in Etabs software. A geotechnical finite element program called midas gts nx is used to numerically investigate the effect of soil-structure interaction. In this program, you can create models of soil, foundation and piles.
At first, piles and soil laxyers are modeled in midas gts nx software, then the soil and structure are analyzed nonlinearly and the results indicate that by considering the soil and structure, the settlement of the foundation and the settlement of the soil under the foundation increases. The force of the piles is reduced and once again the model of the soil and the structure has been spectrally analyzed dynamically. The results indicate that by considering the soil and structure, the displacement of floors increases.
