Abstarct: Hydrodynamic parameters of aquifers are among their most important properties. So far, different methods have been used to estimate hydrodynamic parameters of aquifers, among which pumping test data is regarded as the most common and reliable method for estimating these parameters. However, the results obtained from the analysis of pumping test data have significant uncertainty in many cases, due to the low accuracy in conducting pumping test and the lack of experienced experts to analyze the its data. In this study, the data of 14 pumping tests were used to validate hydrodynamic parameters in the Galikesh region of Golestan province. It is worth noting that these pumping tests were conducted in a reversed step, which included significant errors due to the interference of well loss and aquifer loss components. In the reverse step method, reducing the pumping discharge rate and continuing the test with the new discharge gradually decrease the well loss component and increase the aquifer loss component, causing significant errors. Then, an equation was estimated for each well to validate the results of the pumping tests. Using the well equation, the total loss in pumping wells was calculated for different discharge rates. The calculated total loss values were compared with the values observed in the tests. By calculating the relative error for each pumping test, it was found that the values of these errors vary from 63 to 199%, which such large errors indicate the inaccuracy of the proposed method. In addition, the geoelectric logs (well logging) of the wells were modified by using lithological logs and the values of transmissivity and specific discharge were estimated for different parts of the Galikesh plain. It is observed that the spatial variability of the estimated values of transmissivity and specific discharge is relatively high in the Galikesh plain, due to the existence of important rivers in the margins of this plain and their lateral displacement.
