Abstarct: The Rizab copper deposit is located 60 km Northwest of Bardaskan, occurred in the Central Iran structural zone(South part of sabzevar ), within volcanic- polotonic rocks Khaf- Khashmar- Bardaskan. The host rocks consist of dominantly andesite, piroxen andesite, andezi basalt. Rock units in the study area, including pyroclastic units such as tuff, pyroclastic berech and agglomerate and volcanic rocks invalve andesite, piroxen andesite, andezi basalt, basalt and olivine basalt the age of Eocene. The volcanic rocks belong to calc-alkaline magmatic series and have been formed during a volcanic arc tectonic regime of active continental margin. The mineral is formed as veins and vein- veinlet, cavities and open space filling and disseminated. The main minerals formed the deposits are classified contains primary chalcocite ,pyrite and secondary malachite, covelline, azurite, and Fe-oxide and hydroxide and Gangue minerals consist of calcite and quartz. The most important alterations in the area of the volcano-sedimentary sequences are the alteration, silicification and chloritic. baxse on to geochemical study this deposit is cu-rich. finally, regarding our research the mineralization in Rizab areas similare copper whith manto type deposits.
