QE187 : Analysis of active tectonic of Meyamey Area baxsed on Morphotectonic index

Abstarct: Location of Iran in Himalaya-Alp Mountain range cause to arrange Iran in active place of the earth. For this reason recognize and find active fault and active tectonic place is one of the important problems. There are several way’s to find out the active fault’s. The morphotectonic index’s investigation’s is one this method’s investigate wide and large study area is the most profit of this method. In this reaserch use from Sinuosity mountain front (Smf),Drainage basin shape( Bs) Drainage basin Asymmetry (AF) Steream lennght gradient index (SL) Hypsometric Curve and Hypsometry Integral index’s in study area to investigate a part of Mayami fault zon. (smf) index in segment one is 1.33, in segment two is1.21, in segment three is 1.31(If this number’s accessible and aproximate the 1, the place tectonically is more active). Bs index of 12 basin’s segment investigated. This research show that number 8 basin (segment) with 3.28 Bs index is maximum index number(the basin have longed shape and active tectonic), and number 12 basin with 1.39 shape index is minimum shape index number (the basin have rounded shape and unactive tectonically). AF index calculated to all 12 basin of study area. This investigation’s show basin 12 is the most symetriest basin of study area (active tectonically), and basin 5 is nonsymetriest basin of study area (nonactive tectonically).SL index investigation’s show number 5 basin with 463.92 have maximum average of all 12 basin’s and arranged in category 2 of tectonic activity. Index of relative active tectonics(Iat) investigations show 5,7,8 and 10 basin’s arranged in category 2 of tectonic activity and 4,11 and 12 basin’s arranged in category 4 of tectonic activity. In this research we use from Geological Map, Lansat Image, DEM with 30 meter accuraccy, and Arc GIS10, Global Mapper 12 software.
