Abstarct: The Kabir kuh is a double- plunged Anticline which located in Ilam province and alike to the other anticlines of Zagros Mountains has a northwest – southeast trend. This anticline extends from southeast of the Ilam to the next of the Andimeshk. Length of this mountain is about 160 kilometers and belong to the Zagros folded zone.
The exposed geological formations descending order of age are Garau, Sarvak, Surgah, Ilam, Gurpi, Pabdeh, Asmari and Gachsaran. The case study area is located in southeast this anticline. To determine type of karstic aquifer, the spring of Abdanan, Darreh shahr and Siah gav have been studied during a water year (mehr month 1388 to shahrivar month 1389). Catchment area of Siah gav Springs is located in Sarvak, Pabdeh - Gurpi, Asmari and Gachsaran formations and Catchment area of both Abdanan and Darreh shahr springs is located in Ilam - Sarvak formations. In this study, the values of discharge, electrical conductivity, temperature and pH of springs water have been measured in site and the concentrations of major anion and cation in hydrogeochemistry laboratory of regional water company of Ilam (once every 45 days). After receiving the laboratory results, the statistical parameters such as saturation indices of Calcite (SIc), Aragonite (SIa), Dolomite (SId), Gypsum (SIg), Halite (SIh) and Anhydrite (SIan) have been calculated using PHREEQC and the percent of testing error, total dissolved solids, total hardness, coefficient of variation and some ionic ratios. Finally, have been evaluated karst development in the case study, with attention to time changes of quantitative and qualitative properties in springs. According to studies, dominant current system in the case study is diffuse.
