Abstarct: In this research, Multi-walled Carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) due to their special properties, which were used as appropriate catalyst supporte. The most important propertie, resistance to acidic and basic environments, porousness possibility, and can be recycled mextals by burning, In this research, The first, functionalized Carbon nanotubes by carboxylic acid group with thionyl choride were converted to acid chloride. In the next step, the modified MWCNT, EN-MWCNT, was prepared by covalent attachment of Ethylenediamine (EN) to MWCNT-COCl via an amide inkage. The [Mo(O)2(acac)2-EN-MWCNT] catalyst was synthesized by the reaction of EN-MWCNT with a solution of Mo(O)2(acac)2 and Methanol (MeOH) as solvent. Then its features were determined by elemental analysis (CHN), TG/DTA, FT-IR, SEM, ICP. This new catalyst was used for epoxidation alkenes with tert-butyl hydro peroxide and oxidation of methyl phenyl sulfide with hydrogen peroxide. In addition, The catalytic procedures for all catalysts were optimized for different parameters such as amount of catalyst, type of solvent, amount of solvent, type of oxidant, amount of oxidant, temperature and time. The supported catalyst highly activity demonstrated in epoxidation of alkenes in the presence tert-buthyl hydrogen peroxide and oxidation Methyl Phenyl Sulfide in presence hydrogen peroxide. The heterogeneous catalyst can be reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity.
