Abstarct: In this thesis, positive linear discrete-time systems, and properties such as controllability, reachability, and observability are investigated and then different types of positive systems stability and also pole assignment problem, has been studied by companion matrix. And finally by using vector companion form and parameterization of the state feedback controller, a new method for pole assignment developed, so that closed-loop systems remain positive.
