Abstarct: Abstract The study presents a mexta-analysis on the effectiveness of input enhancement (IE) on EFL learners' vocabulary knowledge. By creating a set of inclusion/exclusion norms, 19 main studies with 64 different effect sizes were mined from various articles and theses in 2007– 2022 and English. Six moderator variables were recognized: age, educational level, language proficiency level, gender, study design, and publication type. It was found that the total effect was g= 1.30, which signifies a medium effect size with admiration to Plonsky and Oswald' (2014) scale. Because of moderator analysis, the most significant effect sizes are in the article. Furthermore, input enhancement has the most effect on students' language proficiency at an elementary level. It also has the highest impact on lower-level education. Afterward, the study concludes with a discussion. The findings have apparent effects on practitioners, researchers, and policymakers.
