The process of depleting resources, reducing energy consumption is also considered one of the major global concerns, which has received too much attention in the last few decades. Building shells, as a separator between the interior and the exterior environment, actually play an important role in the thermal behavior of the building. Now that the shells as a part of the building are the most important source of light and solar energy, the effect on heating and cooling, and intentional and unintentional ventilation, control of sound effects, quality of design and execution, and aesthetic dimensions, a significant effect compared to Other components of the building will be on it. The shell of the building is traditionally used as a buffer between the interior space and the changing weather conditions outside the building, and its performance has been evaluated according to the ability to separate the interior and exterior spaces of the building. Now, new design ideas look at the shell of the building as a barrier that creates a balance between the interior space and the exterior environment of the building. In the building of Mughan Cable Wire Factory in Shahrood, this issue is investigated and the amount of energy consumption is analyzed using the curtain wall view, so that the best case is selected from among the investigated alternatives. Now, in this direction, the aim of the research is the effect of curtain wall facade on energy consumption in an office building in Shahrood and the design of the second shell (inner shell) to reduce energy consumption in Shahrood office buildings with curtain wall facade. This dissertation is entixtled design, analysis and modeling of an office building with the approach of reducing energy consumption, the use of dry facade (curtain wall) in the design of Kabul Wire Factory, Moghan, in an attempt to identify and analyze the factors that lead to the reduction of energy consumption in an office building. . Using a quantitative method, field and library methods were used to collect the required information. As a result of these investigations, which led to the identification of important and effective factors in the design, an alternative for the facade was designed, and then with Design Builder software, these volumes were investigated in terms of energy consumption in one year. Finally, this building showed a reduction in energy consumption with a new alternative, which has actually taken a new step in reducing energy consumption by using such a design.
