Abstarct: This research investigates the effect of urban design space syntax parameters on security sensibility. Space syntax are defind in the first section of the thesis. Then, a literature review on the subject is provided. Depthmap software which is baxsed on space syntax method, is introduced and used in this research. Narmak zone is used for case study. This area is simulated using Depthmap software and urban design parameters distribution is computed. On the other hand, a survey is conducted in the area to obtain the citizens opinion on security sensibility on different points of the map. Finally, a mathematical model is presented in which security sensibility index can be computed using urban design parameters from Depthmap.
