Abstarct: The balance of the total energy consumption and energy production (renewable) in zero-energy building is main design parameters in these buildings. With reduction of energy consumption, energy production will also lower.Mashhad Regional Gas Authority building as net zero-energy building with climate and environmental potential is capable to convert into the urban pattern. This research in relation with the subject baxsed on field studies and collecting meteorological data region, climate, natural resources and energy potential available in Mashhad in the form of separation criteria, patterns, and relationships between variables classified factors available in using Excel software to be considered for the future. so, baxsed on experimental and laboratory ways, according to data collected to examine how the exchange of energy between the outer and inner effective walls, energy balance and production, direct solar energy (passive), optimal orientation building, and all environmental and climatic factors in the reduction of energy in the same situation Sarien city with using energy software (DesignBuilder, Energy Plus, and Autodesk Ecotect Analysis) is simulated and evaluated. At the design stage, in line of following principles of sustainable architecture and energy efficiency to achieve zero energy building characteristics in following the research results obtained, we start design. To ensure for get confidence of design, building designed also will be evaluated in mentioned software. In the simulation results, the significant reduction of energy with saving solutions done and energy production and consumption balance gained at the end.
