Abstarct: Today, humans spend most of their time indoors and they need to provide a place of residence, security and comfort for the users, failing to meet these conditions can impair the physical and mental condition of its occupants, and attention must be paid. To meet these conditions, however, also requires cost and energy. Educational spaces are an example of these buildings that students spend time in. Providing proper thermal comfort in addition to improving student performance also reduces energy consumption. In the present study, for surveying and evaluation of thermal comfort conditions in the north (eighteenth class) and south (fourteen class) classes of faculty of architectural engineering and urbanism at Shahrood university of technology, as a case study, two types of thermal comfort conditions were selected for the study. The Ashrae model and Adaptive model are used. The results of this evaluation are, in the hot season, for northern class neutral temperature, preffred temperature & range of thermal comfort is; 23.33, 24.5 & 17-27 and in southern class is; 23.85, 22.5 & 18.5-28.5 degrees. In the cold season, for northern class neutral temperature, preffred temperature & range of thermal comfort is; 23.55, 22.5 & 23.5-30 and in southern class is; 24.07, 22.5 & 23.5-30 degrees. Investigating the correlations and relationships between the variables of thermal comfort in this study and within the studied classes showed that the importance of the operating temperature resulting from the radiation temperature and the indoor air temperature can be considered as the most important factors, respectively. The other factors of importance, respectively, are relative humidity, air velocity, and cover. They have less impact on thermal comfort conditions in the hot and dry climates of Shahroud city and, in the end, comparing the statistical population of females and males as well as comparing the two classes of the North and South, it should be noted that there is a significant difference between the two student societies, female and male and also it was not observed between the two classes.
