Today, the energy sector is the basic infrastructure of economic and social activities of any country. Economic growth and development, or even the continuation of living conditions in human society in the future, without ensuring the supply of energy at a reasonable price seems impossible. Renewable energies as clean energies can play an important role in reducing the emission of polluting gases such as carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. In this study, a set of factors that act as challenges and facilitators of the use of renewable energy sources in the conditions of uncertainty, as well as examining the mutual relationships between these factors, were examined in order to provide a comprehensive understanding for the selection of renewable energy sources. In the comprehensive evaluation of the criteria, five key aspects of resilience, environmental, technical, economic and socio-political were emphasized. Therefore, in this study, fuzzy Delphi method was used to arrive at a reliable set of renewable energy resources utilization factors baxsed on qualitative information and linguistic preferences. Then, the Fuzzy DEMATEL method was used to evaluate the interrelationships between evaluation criteria under conditions of uncertainty, and the weight of each sub-criteria was determined and baxsed on that ranking was done. baxsed on this, the energy cost criterion with a weight of 0.04622 has won the first rank as one of the challenges of using energy resources. The job creation criterion with a weight of 0.04604 ranked second and the efficiency criterion with a weight of 0.04601 ranked third as facilitators of the use of energy resources. Finally, the investigated renewable energy sources under uncertainty were ranked by the , Fuzzy TOPSIS method. According to the obtained results, solar energy won the first place. Also, wind energy ranked second, geothermal energy ranked third, hydroelectric energy ranked fourth, and biomass energy ranked fifth.
