Abstarct: Abstract The problem of selecting the right stocks to invest in is very important for all investors in both emerging and developed capital markets. In this case, the investor sees himself in the face of many and varied choices that must be chosen as one of the best. There are too many numbers of criteria for the investor to consider before making the final decision. Therefore, stock selection is a multi-criteria decision-making problem. The existence of uncontrolled criteria affects the decision-making process. Since investors cannot clearly estimate these criteria in terms of numerical values for the anticipated alternatives, the use of fuzzy sets can be effective. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate and analyze the stock market by interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFs). This approach can better describe the uncertainty in some Stock evaluation criteria. In this research, the FUCOM-IVIF PROMETHEE method was used for stock evaluation. For this purpose, a sample consisting of six industries and 48 companies (shares) of the shares on the Tehran Stock Exchange between the years 2011 to 2017 were selected. First, 17 criteria were selected by searching for theoretical foundations. The evaluation criteria were weighted by the full consistency method (FUCOM) and a survey from the experts. Then, the preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluation (PROMETHEE) by approach interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFs) was used for choosing the best stock. The research results showed that the "earnings per share" is the most important criterion for stock evaluation. Also, the shares of "Shekhark", "Shefan" and "Khapuish" companies were recognized as the best shares.
