Abstarct: The existence of monopolistic structures is seen as one of the problems in creating competitive spaces in an open economy. The biggest challenge facing policymakers and industry managers is identifying monopolies and monitoring their performance. However, despite the importance of studying market concentration, he has rarely studied this issue for Golestan province. While Golestan province has high industrial investment advantages. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the concentration ratio of the country and Golestan province and also to investigate the relationship between structure, behavior and performance in these industries. the behavior-structure-performance model is used for this. In the research model , the performance of industries (value creation) is a dependent variable. Explanatory variables include industrial concentration index (lci), investments (linv), exports (lex), labor (ll). The research sample contains information from 16 branches with two-digit ISIC code in the period 1992-2018 for the whole country and for the provins of Golestan . The information required for this study was compiled as a library from the publications of the Statistics Center of Iran. The GMM method is used to estimate the model. In this study, by examining the concentration index, it was found that the food industry has the least monopoly. Also, the industrial concentration ratio in Golestan province industries is higher than at the national level. The results of the model estimation for the whole country showed that the variables of labor force, investment and degree of concentration have a positive effect on the performance of industries across country. The results of the model estimation for Golestan province showed that investment and export variables have a positive effect on the performance of industries across the country.
