Abstarct: Nowadays, the country is believed to have leverage for economic stability. Also, if a country intends to achieve economic progress, it should act to produce goods and services that have export aspects. The developed countries source a significant amount of their gross domestic product (GDP) from exports. But in developing countries like our country, the export sector is not very strong, but researchers in the field of economy are trying to show the path to exports to the politicians to lead the government policies toward this side. Before any action, recognition of effective factors on exports and estimation of its impact is essential. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting export with an emphasis on the type of ownership in Iranian industries in Iran with 4-digit ISIC code for the years 1397-1387. In order to estimate the research model, the Stata software has been used. The aim of this study was to evaluate the factors affecting the export of firms with the focus on the type of firm ownership, which for each of the cases of firms with private ownership, cooperative ownership and public ownership, separate estimates were made. The results showed that the type of ownership did not have much effect on the export of firms. The variables of firm value added, the amount of research and development costs of the firm and the number of firm sales had the greatest impact on the export of firms.
