Abstarct: As new technologies, new products, and suppliers increase, the supply chain suffers from complications that would increase uncertainty and disruption, including supplier selection and safety stock. Also, the disruption negatively affects the sustainable supply chain, especially economic factors. Therefore, the supply chain management would move towards different approaches so that be able to improve the capabilities of exposure to these risks. One of the ways to deal with supply chain disruptions is to increase the supply chain flexibility and responsiveness baxsed on the literature. This study is a descxriptive-survey approach of the applied type and moreover, the statistical population of this research is the pharmaceutical supply chain for pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Iran. A questionnaire was used to collect research data and a five-point Likert scale was used to answer these questions. Some of the results of running this research are: the moderating role of flexibility of in the relationship between the occurrence of disruption in the sustainability of the pharmaceutical supply chain, the negative and significant effect on safety stock and supplier selection on the occurrence of the drug supply chain disruption, and the positive and significant effect of pharmaceutical supply chain response on pharmaceutical supply chain sustainability.
