Abstarct: Iran's gas production nearly tripled in the past 15 years and extraction and gas production activities In the South Pars field have played a major role in this transformation. Iran's choice in gas sphere is include domestic consumption, and exports in the form of gas, conversion of gas tovalue-added products such as petrochemicals and steel, gas injection into oil fields to enhance productivity and increase pressure oil fields and natural gas storage. Economic Energy experts are of the opinion that with proper planning and principles, Iran could use the extra gas for all consumers The present study attempts to find the optimal storage of natural gas in Iran. The main question addressed in this study, the optimal amount of storage volumes and the impact of these factor on economic growth in the shadow of consumption and trade of natural gas? In order to answer this question and determine the amount priorities domestic consumption, injection into oil reservoirs, export and storage of natural gas in Iran, From the linear programming and for the period 1410-1392 modeling and simulation are used. Listed four variables in the model is considered as a decision variable. Also to respond to the effects of the gas industry on economic growth, vector auto regression method estimates for the period 1393-1339 due to the storage company was founded in 1388, variable volume storage therefore dummy variable econometric model used. Simulation and Analysis of Results of this study show that baxsed on the priorities of the Ministry of Oil, the amount allocated to domestic consumption, injection into oil reservoirs, export and storage was found. Volume of natural gas storage reservoirs according to have been discovered and is being evaluated in three scenarios were investigated. In the baxse case scenario storage volume of domestic consumption was 8 percent improvement in storage conditions of the country but with 30 percent of the world there are still differences. The results of the econometric model show that variable natural gas storage has effect positive and significant on GDP country that storage to balance in the supply of natural gas leads. Also variables consumption and transactions gas, labor and capital on economic growth country has effect positive and significant.
