Abstarct: Parental Support, praise and involvement in children, s sport activities is the basis for participation and success whether parental involvement is beneficial or harmful. So the parents can play an important role in the formation of these habits and attitudes, that the feeling of competence and enjoyment are most important once. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation of parental involvement with perceived competence and enjoyment among martial arts adolescent athletes. The population of this study included martial arts adolescents of Khorasan Razavi (N=1000) that 281 persons of them were selected as study sample randomly. After evaluation of the questionnaires validity and reliability, the modified questionnaire of parental involvement (Lee & MClean, 1997; Leff & Hoyle, 1995), perceived competence questionnaire (McAuley, 1991), and sport enjoyment (Scanlan, 1993) questionnaire was used to collect the data. To detemine the face and content validity of the questionnarie, 10 experts and sport management teacher were consulted and to determine the structural validity of the questionnaries, confirmatory factor analysis were applied. Then to determine the reliability of the questionnaires, a pilot study on 31 martial arts athletes was conducted. The results of cronbachs alpha coefficient showed (parental involvement= 0/80) (Perceived competence= 0/91) (Sport enjoyment= 0/94) that the questionnaries have acceptable reliability.also, Used of Pearson correlation and path analysis to test the hypotheses. Findings indicated that parental support has a significant and positive relationship with the perceived competence and sport enjoyment, also, parental pressure showed a significant and negative relationship with perceived competence and sport enjoyment. A positive and medium relationship between perceived competence and sport enjoyment was observed. A path analysis test showed that perceived competence have a direct and indirect effect on sport enjoyment; In this model perceived competence was a mediator variable. The section of total effect indicated that the largest effect on sport enjoyment was related to perceived competence (β=0/43). Endogenous Variables’ R-Square indicated that respectively % 30 and % 22 of the variance of perceived competence and sport enjoyment explained by exogenous variables. The model showed a good fit to the data.
