GV36 : The combined effects of ginseng supplementation and resistance training on aerobic and anaerobic in the disabled male students.

Abstarct: The purpose of this study is the combined effects of ginseng supplementation and resistance training on aerobic and anaerobic of Inactive students at the university of Shahrood.To do this 50 students of Shahrood university, with an average age (19±2) and the body Index (22±3kg/m2), voluntarily participated in this study. study was semi empirical conducted the random. Methods: The study subjects were divided into four groups: Supplementation and exercise group (n = 13), placebo and exercise (n = 13), supplementation (n = 12), control group (n = 12). In this research the herbal ginseng capsules (250 mg) capsules of the flour (250 mg) was used as a placebo. Training groups for six weeks, three times a week to practice the training. Before and after the training program, aerobic test (test Bruce) test, anaerobic ((test Wingate) and body composition (Inbody230) of the subjects were taken. In order to analyze the normality of the data was used of Test - Asmyyrnf and Due to data distribution normal, were used parametric Stats . For compare data the evaluate the effect the supplement and placebo was used from repeated analysis of variance (4×2) . Results: The results study revealed differences anaerobic peak power between the four groups was significant (P=0.028(.But the power average between four groups was not significant (P=0.122). The minimum anaerobic power between the four groups was not significant (P=0.094). And fatigue index between the four groups was not significant (P=0.328). On the other aerobic power was significantly between the four groups(P=0.001). Aerobic power in the ginseng, and ginseng and exercise the greater increase had found than other two groups. Conclusion: The results showed that ginseng supplementation Consumption combined with Six weeks of resistance training increases aerobic power in inactive people and Also is a good supplement to enhance anaerobic power. People who do resistance training In addition to the training can consumed ginseng supplement to increase aerobic and anaerobic power.
