GV313 : Comparison of the effect of intense interval training and moderate resistance training on anaerobic power and fatigue index of teenage basketball plaxyers

The purpose of this research was to compare the effect of intense interval training and moderate resistance training on anaerobic power and fatigue index of teenage basketball plaxyers. The current research was a semi-experimental type of research, pre-test, post-test, with a control group. The statistical population of the research was all teenage basketball plaxyers in North Khorasan province. Among them, 36 people were included as research samples in three control groups, intense interval training group and moderate resistance group. After eight weeks of training, the subjects' anaerobic power and fatigue index were evaluated by the Rest test. The measured data were analyzed by Shapirowilk, Lune and covariance statistical tests in SPSS version 21 software. The results of the research hypotheses test showed that there is a significant difference between eight weeks of intense and resistance training on anaerobic power (P=0.001 and F=55.669) and fatigue index (P=0.001 and F=43.887) in teenage basketball plaxyers. Also, the results of Bonferroni's post hoc test showed that according to the significance level, there is a significant difference between all three groups (control group, intense interval training and moderate resistance training) in the variable of anaerobic power. There is a significant difference in the variable of fatigue index between the control group, the group of intense intermittent exercises and the group of moderate resistance exercises, and no significant difference was observed in the variable of fatigue index between the group of intense intermittent exercises and the group of moderate resistance exercises. baxsed on the findings of the research, it seems that intense interval training and moderate resistance training can be effective in improving the anaerobic power indices and reducing the fatigue index of the youth basketball plaxyers.
