Abstarct: Improving the performance of employees in organizations, especially education and training, is of great importance in order to achieve the goals of the organization and achieve worthy results. It seems that one of the effective factors in improving job performance is teachers' job security, which can be considered as a factor in increasing efficiency and productivity and causing job entanglement. This research sought to find the effect of job security on the job performance of physical education teachers with a mediating role in job interweaving. The method of this research in terms of practical purpose and in terms of descxriptive method was a survey type that was conducted in the field, and in terms of the relationship between the variables, it was of the correlation type and in terms of time, it was cross-sectional. The statistical population of this research was 204 physical education teachers in Babol city in 1401. The statistical sample was determined using Gpower software of 130 people who were selected as available sampling. To collect the data, after verifying the validity and reliability, the job engagement and job security questionnaires of Karatip and Watankhah (2014) and Boyle et al.'s job performance (2019) were used. The data was analyzed with the help of partial least squares method and Smart-PLS3 and SPSS26 software. The results showed that job security has a positive and significant effect on teachers' performance and interweaving. In addition to having a positive and meaningful effect on the performance of teachers, job interdependence has a mediating role in the relationship between job security and the job performance of physical education teachers. Therefore, it is suggested that managers and officials increase the job performance of physical education teachers with the help of influencing factors such as job security and job interweaving.
