GV209 : Normalization of the Persian version of the nostalgia questionnaire for sports tourism

Abstarct: The purpose of this study is to Normalization of the Persian version of the Nostalgia Questionnaire for Sports Tourism. The research method is descxriptive-analytical and applied. Data collection is done electronically and online; So that the questionnaires were published online through virtual pages. The statistical population of the study was all fans who traveled to Azadi Stadium in Tehran at least 50 km from their hometown to watch their favorite team play and stayed for at least 24 hours (overnight). The statistical sample was selected baxsed on Klein (1994) method baxsed on the number of items on the scale for confirmatory factor analysis of 300 people; Sampling was done by available method. Finally, 300 questionnaires were used for analysis using Spss and Amos software. The research tool was the Persian version of the Nostalgia Questionnaire for Sports Tourism; Which was translated and re-translated in three stages. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was approved by 12 professors and sports management specialists. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate the validity and factor structure of the questionnaire. Its internal reliability was confirmed by the combined reliability coefficient along with Cronbach's alpha coefficient.The results showed that the evaluation of all relationships between the main variables of the study, including: nostalgia as a fan identity, environment (experience), socialization (sociability), personal identity and group identity (fan) is positive.The items related to the variables that were examined baxsed on confirmatory factor analysis were confirmed. Finally, baxsed on the findings of the study, it was ensured that the nostalgia questionnaire has the necessary validity and standards in the Iranian sports community.
