Shahrood University of Technology was ranked among top Asian Universities by THE Rankings 2020
Times Higher Education (THE) announced the list of top Asian universities for 2020.
In its third year of participating, Shahrood University of Technology (SUT) was able to rank 300-350th in Asia. China’s Tsinghua University, China’s Peking University and National University of Singapore (NUS) were respectively ranked the top three universities of Asia. Also, in Iran, BNUT, Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology were able to achieve the first three places.
Times Higher Education is one of the world’s most respected ranking systems. To rank Asian universities, THE used the following weighting system: Teaching (25%), Research (30%), Citations (30%), International Outlook (7.5%), Industry Income (7.5%).
