Participation of the SUT faculty member in a joint Iran - Switzerland workshop
Dr. Dahrazma , Faculty Member of Civil Engineering Faculty of Shahroud University of Technology ,attended the Joint Iran-Switzerland Workshop at ZHAW University
According to Shahrood University of Technology International office, a joint Iran-Switzerland scientific workshop on environmental technologies was held in Zurich at the Faculty of Engineering of Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). 15 senior faculty members of ZHAW University and faculty members from all over Iran including Shiraz, Sharif, Isfahan, Amir Kabir, Science and Technology Universities, Tarbiat Modares, Shahrood University of technology, Zanjan and Shahid Beheshti Universities baxsed on their previous successful cooperation on Environmental technologies with Switzerland attended the workshop.
Dr. Dahrazma, Associate Professor at Faculty of Civil Engineering of Shahrood University of Technology, attended the workshop. During the meeting with the lecturers of environmental science and technology, she also visited the laboratories related to the environment, and introduced Shahrood University of Technology and the current researches of environmental engineering in this center.
The workshop was held with the aim of developing the cooperation between specialists of the two countries. Implementing joint projects and use of the various funding provided by the Swiss Ministry of Science and Technology (SERI) were discussed as well. The processes required for the presence of Iranian researchers in Switzerland and the research opportunities at universities were also discussed.
