Research Interests: Full scale labratoary tests, Fiber Reinforced Cementitios Materials, Fiber Reinforced concrete, HPC, UHPC, Underground structures, lifeline earthquake engineering, passive control of structures.

Current Research Projects: 1.Mechanical behavior of spiral fibers for reinforcing concrete. (Experimental) 2.Mechanical behavior of novel fibers for reinforcing cementitious base materials. (Experimental) 3.Ductile RC beams reinforced by FRP bars. (Experimental/Analytical/Numerical) 4.Precast RC tunnel lining (segment) under high concentrated loads (proposing an innovative geometry)
