Abstarct: Chahdashi area is located in west of Nehbandan in southern Khorasan. mextalogenic belt of mextamorphic formations in Dehsalm is the origin of iron mineralization in the field area. The mentioned formation spread from neighborhood of Shahkooh granite intrusion to the margin of central Loot area. In this research, firstly, several amount of thin and smooth sections have been prepared and examined in order to recognize the mineralization of the area. Assessment shows that the major mineralization of the area consist of hematite and trivial amount of magnetite associated with carbonates and quartz. Geochemical information of of the area have been assessed by single variable and multivariate statistical methods. Multivariate analysis shows that there is a high correlation between iron and the elements of cobalt, vanadium, titanium and etc. These elements generated front haloes and tail haloes in the iron scarn. Then, the area and the anomaly of different elements especially iron predicted by Solovov statistical method and fractal geometry method as well. Comparison between results shows that both methods verify each other in predicting the area. Finally, an anomaly have been determined in northern east of the area by compound haloes method and geochemical zonality. Moreover, four points suggested for future drilling in the area of anomaly. Also, an extra area suggested for further exploration in south part of the studied area. Investigations indicates that suggested anomalies are in direct relation with NE-SW faults in the area and it seems the mentioned faults have the main rule in mineralization of the area.
