Abstarct: In this thesis, first some methods of Stress Recovery in Finite Elements are surveyed & introduced. After surveying existing methods, the LP method was chosen comparing to some common Stress Recovery methods in Finite Elements, in order of development in Isogeometric Analysis. The reason of this is high efficiency & using the residual of equilibrium equation term that seems to be appropriate for using in Isogeometric Analysis method. For this purpose, the basics of Isogeometric analysis & NURBS basic functions which are the essentials in this environment are introduced briefly. Then the relations & equations used in LP method are re-written compatible to Isogeometric Analysis. After determining the relations, coding method was done in programming environment & was added to basic program of Isogeometric analysis. In order to compare efficiency & veracity of the method, three known examples which their accurate solutions were available were used. 1) Cantilever beam 2) Hole in infinite plate 3) Fracture problem The results of LP method program are compared to SPR recovery method in Isogeometric environment. In the comparison, Energy Error Norm, Effectivity Index & surveying recovery stress parameters at some parts are used. In surveying the program’s outputs, an improvement in results is observed comparing to SPR method. At the end appropriate degree of NURBS functions was defined with LP method, in order to recovery stress in Isogeometric environment for mentioned examples.
