Abstarct: chain saw cutting machine is used in many quarries to reduce horizontal drilling costs in combination with Diamond wire saw; Therefore, the length and width of the extraction block depends on the size of the cutting blade and the efficiency of the machine, and the diamond wire saw is used in vertical cuts; Therefore, in this research, by determining the appropriate height of the bench, which is one of the effective factors in obtaining large and Pristine dimensions of building stone, high safety and efficiency were achieved. In this study, in order to select the appropriate height of the bench, four scenarios (heights of 6, 8, 10 and 12 meters) have been determined and the exploratory data of Aziz Kandy Bukan Marble Mine have been used to study. To determine the appropriate height of the bench, the discontinuities model was first modeled by 3dec software and the volume of extraction blocks at different heights was estimated. The amount of cutting and drilling costs at different heights were calculated. Finally, the profitability of the mine was determined at different heights; According to the calculations, the height of 12 meters had the lowest cost due to the reduction of number of benchs and the amount of horizontal cutting and drilling, also the height of 12 meters will have the highest amount of volume of extraction blocks. Finally, due to the higher profitability among the selected scenarios, the height of 12 meters was introduced as a suitable bench height in Aziz kandi Bukan marble mine.
