TN81 : A GIS baxsed Weight-of-Evidence and Zonality Model Hybrid Mineral Potential Mapping of gold mineralization in map of 1:100000 Taherabad

Abstarct: Nowadays inspite of modern and well developed methods in all sciences such as earth science, we can observe great changes in all aspects that one of these changes is use of Geographical Information System (GIS).GIS is applying in different branches of science, that one of this is in exploration of mineral deposits and combination of different laxyers for purpose of determination of mine bearing potential map. In this thesis it has been tried to use GIS for combination of different exploratory data such as geologic, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing, for the determination of mine bearing deposit in the Ferdows Taherabad region. The above mentioned region is located in the South western part of Razavi Khorazan province which Ferdows cities. The main aim of present study is recognizance of gold deposits with the different data such as geological, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing information (ASTER data) and finally determination of best hopeful region with the use of hybrid model of Zonality-Weight of evidence (WofE-Zonality). In this study for obtaining the good result First: alteration of this region studied was done with the use Image processing, remote sensing data, sensed images (ASTER). Then with considering the remote sensing, geologic and geophysical information laxyers and with the use of weight of evidence of eleven mine index in Taherabad right probable gold mineralization map was obtained. This map has been classified from lower probability to higher probability. With attention to limitation of simple weight of evidence model, use of zonality method which baxsed on customary geochemical method was selected for determination of hopeful region. In the last stage not only use of hybrid model of Zonality-Weight of evidence will omit the limitation of weight of evidence method but also will present powerful pattern for classifying, which can classify the geochemical anomalies one the baxse of erosion level. In the obtained map the hybrid model of Zonality-Weight of evidence potential bearing region were situated in three localities, which the Northern potential bearing area was preferred for detailed exploration. Meanwhile field observation and sampling of this locality is verifying the obtained result.
