Abstarct: Drilling, blasting, loading and hauling, are 4 basic steps in the Extraction of Mines. Drilling and blasting at the open pit mines of the most sensitive activities that directly or indirectly in other areas of extraction are related to it. so optimization drilling and blasting can have a greate impact on reducing the volume of drilling, the use of explosives, size distribution and ultimately surface mining extraction costs. In general, open pit mine blasting pattern design using formulas, the same experiences work by hand , using computer such as neural network will perform. The goal of this project is to provide a suitable pattern of drilling and blasting to achieve its proper Fragmention. First, by a general review, the limestone mining of Sistan Cement Factory is under consideration. Then by studying common types of drilling and balasting in the mine by GOLD SIZE software the modified KAZ-RAM model is chosen as the best experimental model for predicting grinding. In the following three existing drilling and balasting patterns that gained by experimental relations are implemented in Sistan mine. Eventually by comparing the results of conventional drilling and balasting patterns in the mine, one of the drilling and balasting performed in Sistan limestone is selected due to its proper Fragmention as a suitable drilling and balasting pattern.
