Abstarct: Drilling and blasting are important parts in mining operations. Optimization of this operation can be effective in drilling reduction, explosive usage, distribution of fragmentation size and mining costs. The object of this thesis is the design of oppropriate blasting pattern to achieve less overbreak and proper advance rate and fragmentation for zemestan yurt coal mine. In this regard, fragmentation of seven explotions in this mine and 40 section of tunnel befor and after explotions along with advance rates were taken. In the fragmentation procedure, using the indirect method of photo analysis by goldsize software, the quality of fragmentation of mine explosions was evaluated. After investigating and analyzing the photoes, the fragmentation of mine experimentally explotion was evaluated inappropriate fragmentation. In advance rate and overbreak discussions by using fuzzy and fuzzy neural networks method, predictive models have been developed to predict these phenomena. The fuzzy method was used to construct a predictive model that did not achieve the desired results from this model. In order to predict the overbreak a comparative neuro-fuzzy method was used that the resulting model yielded favorable results. Then, using the obtained results, a model was proposed for use in the studied mine.
