Abstarct: Mineralogical studies include ore types minerals, identification of the ore minerals, texture sizes and degree of liberation should on the first stage of processing Mineralogy. So that mineralogical-geochemical studies by LM, XRD, XRF and ICP-OES did on samples of ore mineral and gangue in Amirabad copper oxide mine located 30 km South East of Sarcheshmeh copper mine. According to the mineralogical studies, In the main two No. face of Amir-abad min, the main Copper bearing minerals are: Malachite, Chrysocolla, Chalcocite, Tenorite, Digenite, Covellite, in andesite-tracky andesite and gabbro host rock. Further more Manganese Oxides, Hematite, Magnetite, Ilmenite, Monazite, Pyrite, Alloy of Lead and Zinc and Copper, Copper and Silver Sulfide and Native Cooper were abserved. Gangue minerals are Plagioclase (Albite), Quartz, Orthoclase, Clinochlore, Muscovite, Calcite, Olivine, Pyroxene, Montmorillonite and Vermiculite. The contents of Cu, Fe, Ti in the two No. face were determined as 0/0168-7.5 and 1.4-7.2 and 0.5-1.05 percent respectively. In order to choose the best size of particles for crushing and detection of types of involvement, crushing and screening analysis did in 9 fractions. The involvement of oxide minerals is mostly discursive and simple in gangue phase that is released more than 50% in 35 to 80 mesh. After studying sections of degree of liberation, 3 samples of 250, 500 and 177 micron fractions were sent for ICP analysis. According to the results of analysis, 500 micron fraction showed 3.8 % Copper for 500 microns particles. Copper sulfide minerals in fractions of more than 80 mesh reached 50 percent of degree of liberation.
