Abstarct: The most outcropping mineral deposits have been found; but the task of geologists and researcher into the next century isblind mineralization identification. Recognition of primary geochemical haloes is one of the most important tools for exploring undiscovered blind mineral resource. The aim of present study is utilized multi-fractal modeling for geochemical zonality methods for prospecting Parang chromite deposits which are located in the Birjand ophiolite, south eastern of Iran. A hybrid ofgeochemical zonality and multi-fractal modeling methods are used for identification mineralized zones. Multiplied values of Cr, Co and Ni has been suggested as an exploration indicator for prospecting of chromite deposits and various mineralized zones was distinguished baxsed on multi-fractal C-A methods for this indicator. Moreover, threshold and geochemical anomalies were calculated for multiplied haloes of Cr.Co.Ni. Log-log plots indicate four geochemical populations for Cr, Co, Ni and multiplied haloes Cr.Co.Ni in the deposit which means the mineralization originate with 199 ppm, 19 ppm,185 ppm and 7,943,282 ppm3 for Cr, Co, Ni and Cr.Co.Ni (as the first thresholds) respectively. Investigation is shown that the result of multiplied haloes of Cr.Co.Ni model and Cr geochemical map are following similar pattern in the area. Finally, the result obtained by multiplied haloes model and Cr models was compared by log ratio matrix. Comparison demonstrated, the area is determined as chromite anomalies baxse on multiplied haloes model has more correlation with geological model in the Parang 1:100, 0000 sheet. Investigation is shown which Multi-Fractal modeling and geochemical Zonality methods can not be used for prospecting mineral deposite separatly. But a hibride of Multi-Fractal modeling and Zonality methodscan be used for prospecting mineral deposits.
