Abstarct: Gravity method is one of the geophysical methods that is baxsed on gravity force and uses to explore and evaluation of underground reserves and resources, such as minerals, oil, gas, water and cavities and ets.Considering the density contrast between the porosity and water-bearing zone respect to the around sediments and sedimenteray rocks, water table monitoring by precise gravimeters is possible. On the other hand, irregular exploration in pumping wells and downfall of water level, lead to cone depression that is one of important reason for subsidence. Nowadays, Interferometry Synthetic Aparture Radar (InSAR) is efficient as a new technology which we can measure the subsidence specification due to groundwater, hydrocarbons (oil and gas), geothermal resources and mineral exploration and urban diging operations in centimeter scale. In this study gravity method is used for groundwater monitoring near the water well in NW of Bastam.Bearing in mindthere are various water wells in the area, this study investigate the subsidence issue by means of interferometry synthetic aperture radar technic. Gravity surveys is accomplishednear the pumping water well in Bastam in a grid consisting of 10 meters spaced linesand 5 meters for stations per line. Investigating the variations, the second stage was repeated withless lines than first survey. The results showed the amplitude of gravity defferences are about 28 mili-Gals. Also ENVISAT images had been processed by GAMMA software. Then 5 interfrogram at different time interval were prepared and interpreted. The subsidence of involved areas (about 8.5 to 12 cm) such as Ghaleno-Kharaghan, Chartaghprou, and some areas around BSTAM and west side of Mojen Road was detected. The subsidence around the water well has been observed between Febuary 2006 to April 2008 and the result has shown that the surface has settled about 8 cm.
