Abstarct: Construction of tunnels and underground spaces in urban areas is growing in recent days. Most of these spaces due to short distance to the ground surface soil will be excavated In the terrestrial environment is one of the most important for the stability control and prevent the tunnel from the surface settlement is face pressure And backfill grouting. Line 7 subway tunnel projects in west Tehran, the tunnel boring machine of the type of mechanized earth pressure balanced (EPB) will dig. The study focused on four sections of the tunnel to investigate effect of face pressure and grouting pressure was on the ground surface.Face pressure the Four-state of that areas follows The initial pressure, One and a half times the initial pressure, Twice the initial pressure and Four times the initial pressure, grouting pressure or backfill grouting investigated in the five-state: without pressure, Equal face pressure, Half times the face pressure, 1 and 2 bar times more than the face pressure The study effect of Bckfill grouting and face pressure using three-dimensional modeling and numerical analyzes is done by Plaxis3D Tunnel software. Results show that in the condition H <2D face pressure and grouting pressure has more effect level H> 2D condition. In this project the optimal grouting pressure is 0.5 (bar) times more than the face pressure. Validation was performanced using the actual have been at ground settlement data on two sections of the tunnel. Comparing modeling results and actual data shows the modeling process is valid and acurrate.
