Abstarct: Drilling operations in open pit mining as the first step in the extraction process play a very decisive role on other extraction stages and are considered as an important part of the extraction operations in mines. Drilling operation is one of the most complex and sensitive stages of mining. If a good understanding of the parameters of a drilling pattern is not available, in addition to wasting drilling time, mining costs will also increase. In order to achieve an optimal schedule and reduce mining costs, we examined all the factors affecting the drilling speed. Factors affecting the infiltration rate, which include machine and geomechanical parameters, have been investigated and collected in forty drilling blocks. In this research, statistical methods were used and Minitab software was used to obtain the results. baxsed on the output of the minitab software, the collected data follow the normal function. According to the results, the control chart of the pressure behind the top of the 40 excavated blocks has a uniform increasing trend and its average is 1718.25. Also, the average pressure behind the head is 121.38 with a uniform trend in 40 drilled blocks. The control chart of drilling fluid pressure in forty drilled blocks is a uniform trend with an average of 85.518. The time of digging a hole in drilling blocks is 24.92 on average. The density of rock in forty drilling blocks is 2.5 on average. According to the obtained information, it was found that with the increase of the pressure behind the serum, the rate of penetration of the serum also increases. The results showed that with the increase of uniaxial pressure resistance, the penetration rate decreased. Also, the results showed that the drilling time has an inverse relationship with the infiltration rate and the infiltration rate decreases with increasing time.
