Abstarct: In this Thesis, DC-DC Boost converter with ZVS soft switching capability is controlled using Cascade control method. DC-DC Boost converter is of special importance due to high voltage gain as well as control capability to achieve maximum power of photovoltaic systems. Considering the nonlinear feature and noise, there are limitations for controller design and, therefore, the classical controllers do not have a satisfactory performance. For this purpose, a cascade controller is designed to control the converter system. For the outer loop, an integral control with state feedback method is designed, and for the inner loop, an adaptive and robust method is designed. Finally, using the simulation results, the efficiency of the proposed controller is shown.
