TK726 : Adaptive fuzzy control design and implementation of a pneumatic operator subject to variable load

Abstarct: Nowadays, in industrial applications, the use of pneumatic actuators due to their many advantages is of increasing interest and despite the weaknesses like that air compressibility and its nonlinear characteristics, they are uses in many cases. In most cases, pneumatic cylinders are use for move objects. Since the amount of load on the actuators is variable, it is necessary to design a controller that in addition to precise control, changing the load on the cylinder dose not make any pores. Therefore, in this thesis, an adaptive fuzzy controller has been tried. This controoler in addition to controlling the position, it has ability to adapt the system during the process. this feature causes that factors like that variable non-linear properties with time and load variations dose not make any pores on system performance. An flow control valve uses for cylinder control that provides the ability to control the flow the two sides of cylindes. In order to achieve the control objectives use of three state variable, position, speed and acceleration as fuuzy inputs which ultimately used from output as signal control for the simulated system in matlab and equipped system in the laboratory.
