Abstarct: Recently, new methods have been replaced to the old methods of the oil extraction because of low exploitation from the oil wells. These new methods are called enhance oil recovery. The porous materials are usually used in experimental investigations of enhance oil recovery methods. In this research, the soft lithography is used for fabrication of a heterogeneous reservoir. The fluid front in the chip is also visualized. Nanotechnology is the one of the most significant methods of enhance oil recovery, which is aim at the great result. The combination of nanoparticles (Al2O3 and SiO2) and surfactant is served to investigate the effect of Nano-fluids on the amount of oil-saturated in the micro models. The surfactant solution and Nano-fluid have been prepared with the concentrations of 1wt% and 0.2wt%, respectively. The fluids are injected into the micro model with the constant flow rate. The results show that the oil-saturated in the micro model is decreased by using Alumina-SDS and Silica-SDS Nano-fluids by 19.37% and 15.53%, respectively, in compared to SDS solution. This evidence is caused by decline in the surface tension and change the wettability of the surface from oil wet to water wet by nanoparticles. The Nano-fluid injection leads to an enhancement in the viscose fingering instability. The foam injection can be considered as a great choice to reduce the instability of fingering. The microfluidic flow-focusing device in micro scale produces the foam. The injection of foam in the micro-model reduces the amount of trapped oil. the oil-saturated by injection of Alumina-SDS and Silica-SDS Nano-foams is decreased by 11.69% and 7.73%, respectively, in comparison to the SDS foam. The results indicate the effectiveness of using nanoparticles and foam injections in a micro-model.
