Abstarct: In this thesis due to the growing need for renewable energy, the feasibility of installing solar absorption cooling system and solar ejector cooling system has been investigated. Initially different types of cooling systems are investigated in terms of components and performance. Solar collectors design principles as the distinctive element of solar cooling systems than other cooling systems has been analyzed and further technical review has been carried out on two types of solar absorption cooling system and solar ejector cooling system using EES software. Furthermore the effect of each parameter in the performance of these systems have been investigated. Finally, comparing the initial and ongoing costs of using these two types of cooling systems, life cycle cost analysis of these systems for economic analysis within their life cycles has been presented.
