Abstarct: In this study, the economic feasibility of expansion turbines instead of gas pressure reducing valve stations, urban pressure in order to recover part of the exergy flow of pressurized natural gas and electric energy production , will be discussedBut at the end of the transmission path in order to prepare the gas for use in power plants, industries and cities, the high pressure generated by the compressor stations by reducing the pressure, the pressure is reduced to a much lower. Most of the stations of the pressure valve (the Joule - Thomson) is used to reduce stress. The pressure loss due to irreversible processes, there is a loss of energy, in the form of stored energy that can be used in natural gas process and prevented the loss. To do this you can use (gas turbine) to replace the valve pressure, the pressure required to achieve the core business generated can be used to generate electricity. Gas pressure and temperature of the gas hydrate formation is reduced. Reduce temperature to avoid over-hydrate, the gas stream is preheated before the expansion process.
