Abstarct: Earthquake is one of the most destructive natural phenomena that annually kills, injures and destroys many people. Most existing methods of soil strengthening or structure against earthquakes are dependent on the type of structure or soil and so far there is not an independent method of the kind of structure and soil with high flexibility in most environmental conditions and a method with the possibility of using existing structures. In this research, the idea of a wave generator that produces a wave with opposite of earthquake wave by prediction of earthquake wave is presented. In this approach, using the adaptive kalman filter which has the ability to estimate the earthquake wave changes with a percentage error, is used to predict the sign and magnitude of the earthquake, to generate a wave that can reduce the amplitude of the earthquake. In this study, MATLAB software was used to code the Kalman filter and calculate the effective generation wave in earthquake wave reduction and Plexis software was used to model and evaluate the severity of earthquake impact reduction. The results show that the proposed method reduces over 55% of acceleration amplitude, over 70% of earthquake energy applied to structures and more than 50% of displacements caused by it. The positive results of the proposed method can be applied to a wave generator to reduce earthquake vibrations.
