Abstarct: A lot of buildings in our country and the rest of the world masonry buildings constitute a significant percentage of people living in these buildings. Factors such as environmental, economic, social, cultural, easily implemented and available materials may have been found in a variety of building structures. Retrofitting Unfortunately focus on strengthening engineering, is focused on strengthening steel and concrete structures. While masonry buildings during an earthquake are suffering the most damage. Lack of attention to retrofitting these buildings, caused great losses of life and property in the earthquake. In the end a new way of strengthening masonry walls post-tentioning method has been studied.Traditional building methods need to improve the quality of their design and implementation stages. The complexity of this type of structure against loads caused by the conventional reciprocating engineering, detailed information can be obtained from their behavior.non-linear anisotropic behavior and the presence of abundant cracks method creating a peculiar complexity of the components of the brick structures that often but with finite element methods can obtain information on the status of tensions. Due to the interaction walls and ceiling in an earthquake, the effect of size, shape, geometry and location of the openings in structural behavior and Rewinding evaluate the proposed regulations in 2800, the goals of this research. Following the model of a masonry wall, and cyclic loading experimental results mentioned in the article are valid evaluated And then using Abaqus finite element software behavior modeling wall and screen behavior as well as their impact on seismic behavior of ups and parameters including the impact of ups and post-tenioning, discussed and examined. The result showed that the use of pre-stress in masonry walls to significantly improve the bearing capacity but this did not happen in ductility and formability masonry walls have been partially effective. Therefore, this method can be retrofit masonry walls that lacks sufficient strength and are also used non-standard openings.
