Abstarct: In this study, the fauna of oribatid mites and their biodiversity were carried out in the northern regions of Damghan city in the years 2020-2021. Soil sampling was collected from areas that have a high humidity. In this study, a total of 39 species from 30 families of oribatid mites were identified. By using biodiversity indicators in the six sampled areas, it was found that the species richness of the region Hirkani is the highest and the region of Cheshme-Ali has the lowest species richness. The list of collected species is as follows: Oribatulidae Thor, 1929: Oribatula tibialis allifera Subias, 2000؛ Scheloribatidae Jacot, 1935: Scheloribates laevigatus Koch,1835؛ Oppiidae Sellnick, 1937: Rhinoppia subpectinata Oudemans, 1900؛ Rhinoppia bipectinata Akrami and Subias, 2007؛ Rhinoppia ordunesis Iturrondobeitia et Salona, 1988؛ Steganacaridae Niedbala, 1986: Steganacarus spinosus Sellnick, 1920 ؛Austrophthiracrus pavidus Berlese ,1913 ؛Atropacarus striculus Koch, 1835؛ Euphthiracaridae Jacot, 1930: Acrotritia ardua Koch, 1841 ؛Damaeidae Berlese, 1896: mextabelbella macerochaeta Bulanova-Zachvatikina, 1967 ؛‌Eniochthoniidae Grandjean, 1947: Hypochthoniella minutissima Berlese, 1904 ؛Liacaridae Sellnick, 1928؛ Liacarus coracinus Koch, 1841 ؛‌Nothridae Berlese, 1896: Nothrus anauiensis Canestrini and Fanzago, 1877؛ Sphaerochthoniidae Grandjean, 1947: Sphaerochthonius splendidus Berlese, 1904؛ Carabodidae Koch, 1837: Austrocarabodes foliaceisetus georgiensis Murvanidze and Weigmann, 2007؛ Perlohmanniidae Grandjean, 1954: Perlohmannia dissimilis Hewitt, 1908؛ Tectocepheidae Grandjean, 1954: Tectocephus minor Berlese, 1903؛ Phthiracaridae Perety, 1841: Phthiracarus crassus Niedbala, 1983؛ Phthiracarus incredibilis Niedbata,1983؛ Phthiracarus furvus Niedbala,1983؛ Passalozetidae Grandjean, 1954: Passalozetes africanus Grandjean, 1932؛ Ameridae Bulanova-Zachvatkina, 1957: Amerus polonicus kulcynski,1902؛ Hypochthoniidae Berlese, 1910: Hypochthonius luteus Oudemans, 1917؛ Gymnodamaeidae Grandjean, 1954: Adrodamaeus magnisetosus Ewing,1909؛ Galumidae Jacot, 1995: Pergalumna myrmophila Berlese, 1914؛ Pilogalumna tenuiclava Berlese, 1908؛ Suctobelbidae Jacot, 1938: Rhynchobelba sp.؛ Autognetidae Grangjean, 1960: Autogneta (Rhaphigneta( sp. nov؛ Xenillidae Woolley and Higgins, 1996: Xenillus clypeator Robineau-Desvoidy, 1839 )؛ Hermanniellidae Grandjean, 1934: Hermanniella serrata Sitnikova, 1973؛ Ghamobatidae Grandjean, 1954: Chamobates (Xiphobates) sergienkoae Shaldybina, 1980؛ Eremobelbidae Balogh, 1961: Eremobelba geographica Berlese, 1908؛ Damaeolidae Grandjean, 1965: Damaeouls ortnatissimus Csiszra, 1962؛ Licnodamaeidae Grandjean, 1954: Licondamaeus pulcherrimus Patil, 1908؛ Pedrocortesella inaequalis Balogh & Mahunka, 1965؛ Achipteriidae Thor, 1929: Achipteria coleoptrata Linnaeus, 1758؛ Cepheusoidea Berlese, 1896: Eupterotegaeus ornatissimus Berlese, 1908 ؛Amerobelbidae Grandjean 1961: Amerobelba decedens Berlese, 1908.
