Abstarct: Abstract Cucumber with the scientific name of Cucumis sativus L. is under the trible Cucurbitoideae. Greenhouse cucumbers are usually gynoesious cultivars that in Iran are often used from imported seeds. In Iran, among vegetables, cucumber has the highest area under greenhouse cultivation, so with increasing the area under greenhouse cultivation and high demand for greenhouse cucumber seeds, a suitable solution is national seed production. In this study, the F1 generation of three cultivars including Poya as a male parent and Gohar and Zomorrod as female parents were studied. Male flowers were induced using nano-silver spraying at a concentration of 50 mg/l in two true leaves stage in Pouya cultivar and crosses were performed. Then, 20 seeds from each parent and offsprings were planted in a randomized complete block design. With the growth of cucumber plants, flower sex trend, plant morphological characteristics (number of female flowers, number of male flowers, number of sub-stems in the first 10 nodes of plants, quantitative characteristics (fruit weight, fruit length and diameter) and fruit quality (fruit shape, Overall fruit appearance, seed hole size and fruit color were measured. The highest seed percentage production was obtained from crossing Poya×Zomorrod. The results showed that between parents and offspring was a significant difference in number of female flowers, number of male flowers and number of sub-stems in the first ten nodes, but there was no significant difference in the number of ivy. The number of female flowers in Zomorrod progeny was even more than the parents. The number of male flowers was higher in Gohar progeny. The results of quantitative characteristics of fruits in three harvest periods showed that the fruit weight, length and diameter of offspring fruits were smaller than the parents. Three harvest periods showed that the area, width and length of leaves in the offspring were higher than the parents, but with the continuation of plant growth, this difference decreased. Examination of fruit color and flesh results also showed that fruits has a good color as parents, but fruit flesh was less than parents. Overall, the offspring of Zomorrod is promising generation to produce cultivars to winter culture, and Gohar is spring culture.
