Abstarct: Studying the stability of side wall of earthen channels in term of increment water use efficiency and decrement of economic costs due to failure is essential. In this study stability of various soli slope (1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2 and 3:4) in a seepage tank with different percentage of hydrated lime (2, 5, 10 and 20 weighing percentage) and nano lime (3 and 5 weighing percentage) was simulated. In the absence of coverage, in 53◦ side slope, failure was occurred in water head of 460mm with seepage rate of 15 mlit/s where as in 27◦ side slope these characteristic were obtained about 560 mm and 60 mlit/s, respectively. In 1:1 slope with 10% of hydrated lime in comparison with the same slope and non-coverage, seepage rate was decreased about 44.66, 42.016, 43.75 and 48.14% in water heads of 310, 360, 410 and 460 mm, respectively. The results showed that in side slope of 3:4 with assigning 5% of nano lime compared with the same slope without any coverage, the seepage rate was decreased about 29.96, 52.07 and 40% in water heads of 310, 360 and 410 mm, respectively.
