Abstarct: A split plot experiment baxsed on randomized complete block design. The type of grass was used as the main factor in three levels and paclobutrazol was applied as a sub factor in five levels. The results showed that paclobutrazol had no effect on color, texture, softness, lost water content, overall quality, and have caused significant changes in height, fresh and dry weight, leaf width, The fresh and dry weight ratio of the root to the shoots, chlorophyll, relative water content Ion leakage, catalase enzyme, relative saturation deficiency, guaiacol enzyme and protein. Growth of lolium species showed the highest growth and Poa species had the least growth, and in the height, macro paclobutrazol treatments were more than control but nano paclobutrazol treatments were about equal or less than to the control. In fresh and dry weights and leaf widths in two species Lolium and Poa were less than or equal to the control and in the Festuca species were more or equal than the control. Root weights in treatment with 5 mg / L macro paclobutrazol were the highest and the in treatment with 15 mg / L nano were lowest. The total chlorophyll content, except for Festuca, showed a decreasing trend in the other two species in treatments. The relative content of leaf water, except for the treatment of 15 mg / L macro paclobutrazol in Poa, was less than the equal. The catalase enzyme in all cases was lower than to the control. And in the relative insufficiency ratio, only in 15 mg / L macro paclobutrazol in Festuca, was significantly increased and in the remaining cases it was at a constant level with decreasing trend. In general, the results showed that nanocapsulated paclobutrazole in most traits showed more effects than conventional ones, and among the grasses, the genus Poa had better results in general traits.
