Abstarct: Drought of the most important abiotic stresses and limiting factors of production. The use of inputs that can have a positive impact on performance under drought conditions is very important. Today, safflower oil, due to quality and medicinal properties, is taken into consideration. Use input's that can have a positive impact on yield under drought conditions is very important. The effect of the application of salicylic acid and Biochar in drought conditions on growth characteristics of safflower, in 1394 split plot factorial experiment in a randomized complete block design with three replications it was Performance at University of Technology of Shahrood. Irrigation treatments included three levels of 7, 10 and 14 days (primary factor), salicylic acid levels in both taking and Biochar in three levels of consumption, Biochar walnut and willow Biochar, each at a rate of 10 tons per hectare (sub-factors) was studied. The results showed that irrigation had significant effect on the amount of phosphorous and proline. Significant effect of biochar on seed weight, plant height, stem and leaf dry weight, dry weight of boll, seed yield, biological yield, pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll), potassium, proline, protein and oil, leaf relative water content in leaves and membrane stability was observed. Significant effect Salicylic acid also on boll weight, seed yield, biological yield, grain protein and photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and carotenoids), potassium, the membrane stability and relative water content in leaves, view was. The effect of cross-enhancing Biochar × salicylic acid on the dry weight petals, grains and carotenoid showed that combined use Biochar and salicylic acid could have a significant effect on these traits. In general it can be concluded from this study between levels of Biochar, willow Biochar as well as between salicylic acid, was most effective foliar application of salicylic acid on growth characteristics of safflower in irrigation conditions. Despite Biochar effects than salicylic acid, according to our results, it seems that concurrent use of Biochar and foliar application of salicylic acid can have a positive impact on deal with deficit irrigation. Always using inputs that improve aspects of ecological systems and reduce environmental risk, it is recommended to create sustainable agriculture.
