Abstarct: Proper utilization of water resources through implementing Sprinkler irrigation systems in Iran, which is a semi-arid zone, is extremely important. Like any other technology, sprinkler irrigation systems cause problems for farmers implicitly which lead to desist and inefficient use of these systems. In this research, sprinkler irrigation system performances of 15 farms which are utilized at least for 3 years in Robatkarim County are assessed and reviewed with field experimentations and completing two questionnaires. In order to assess mentioned irrigation systems, we used Christiansen Uniformity (CU), Distribution Uniformity (DU), Wind Drift and Evaporation Losses (WDEL), Application Efficiency of Lower Quarter (AELQ) and Total Efficiency (ET). Average values of assessed parameters for farms under evaluation are respectively as below: 73.50, 59.36, 3.8, 58.32 and 70.87. Also four farms (i.e. F10, F3, F8 and F11) are selected as farms having high performance irrigation systems, baxsed on Merriam and Keller suggestions. Results of questionnaires baxsed on collecting information through verbal interview and field observations showed that 83 percent of farmers having active systems and 67 percent of farmers having inactive systems, believed that using these systems is necessary, in addition they said that infrastructure facilities, grants, social conditions, water resources and administrative issues were effective factors on to upcoming difficulties for system acceptance.
